    PRI Phone Lines

    When clients choose Premise over cloud it is up to the client to bring the phone lines and PRI is a popular choice. A PRi is normally not cost effceitbenf or less than 10 lines and can expand to 23 lines. A PRI will allow you to have hundreds of DID (DIrect phone numbers) this means that you could have a business with 100 phones each having their own DID but only 23 inbound / outbound calls could occur and once. A standard rule of thumb if you are not a call center is that that 23 channel PRI should accommodate 100 – 150 staff / users

    Analog Phone Lines

    Analog phone lines are typically used for high volume fax machines, alarm system, postage machines, visa machines, modems and anything else that needs and analog line. Even in the work of Cloud we can provide ATA’s (Analog Terminal Adapters) which can convert VoIP into analog dial tone for such devices (And YES we support T.38A if you are asking). We recommend that you leave alarm system on analog trunks or use cellular GSM if you can

Prior to founding SE Telecom in 2001, his professional career started with his degree in Electrical Engineering specialized in Telecommunications. James spent years working as an exceptionally gifted field technician. Having personally designed hundreds of networks, the skillset James has developed lends to architecture design on enterprise-grade, multi-site deployments and everything in between. His vast experience and countless certifications have seen just about every system, product and instrument vetted.

    James has a family mindset; being a proponent for businesses having a positive impact in their community and towards social well-being as a whole. His motivation to support our client network is both infectious and never rests. James’ search for the next big tech advancement is a major contributor to why we consistently deliver best-in-class experiences to end users – as promised!

After graduating from Guelph University with his BCom in Management Economics and Industry Finance, Grant joined the SE team in 2002. He continues to play an integral role in sourcing solutions and supporting our clients’ wide array of technical needs across a number of platforms.
